Dear Parent,
This letter contains enrollment information for the 2007-2008 school year.  There are some changes from last year. 
Please pay particular attention to the enrollment dates listed below.  Each family must register even if your child currently attends St. Ann School.

Enrollment Procedure

1.       Complete all forms in this packet.

2.       Submit all forms with a non-refundable $50.00 deposit to the school office by March 16, 2007.  After March 16th,
 the registration is $100.00.  The registration cost will not be applied to tuition.

3.       Once your enrollment status has been verified, you will receive a copy of the tuition contract signed by the pastor.

How Do I Determine My Enrollment Status?

Ø      An active St. Ann parishioner …

    1. Has officially registered in St. Ann Parish and attends Mass regularly as evidenced by use of offertory envelopes.
    2. Has provided the school with a copy of student’s Baptismal Certificate.

Ø      An inactive St. Ann parishioner or private student does not qualify as Active St. Ann Parishioner.

TUITION RATES

The 2007-08 school year tuition rates are on the following page.  The regional tuition rate has increased 7%.  If you are currently enrolled at St. Ann School as an active parishioner or have registered in the parish since the beginning of the 2006-07 school year, you are eligible for a $200.00 discount per child (excluding K) on your tuition for 2007-08.  This discount is available because of the ¢entsible $hopping program along with Market Day and surveys.

There is a 3% discount (1% for credit card) for tuition paid in full before Aug. 1, 2007.

Tuition Grants & Assistance

There is a limited amount of grant money available for the neediest.  These grants are based on a family’s ability to pay. 


Did You Know …

Ø       Tuition covers less than half of the cost of educating a student.

Ø       Over 50% of the Sunday Offertory collection is used to offset school costs.  This contribution to the school from the parish community permits us to offer Catholic education below the true costs. 

Ø       Building our Future, Together Campaign paid for all major building improvement and the school addition.  As a result of these improvements, St. Ann School is one of the finest facilities in the Northwest Cluster of Catholic schools.  

Active parishioners may apply for tuition grants from the St. Ann Tuition Assistance Fund.  Please contact the Business Office at 521-8440 for application forms.

During the 2007-2008 school year, an active parishioner with unforeseen difficulties (i.e., illness, loss of job, etc.) may apply for tuition assistance.  This assistance is funded by the interest from The Monsignor Lunn Education Endowment Fund.

Our Cafeteria Hot Lunch

The cost of daily hot lunches, including milk, will be $2.00 per meal.  Milk is available daily at a cost of 35¢.
